Nessy Learning LLC – COPPA Compliance
Nessy Learning’s online platform complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which is a US federal law aimed at protecting children’s online privacy.
The children’s data we process when providing our learning platform is exclusively used for that purpose and is not publicly available to anyone other than the child, their parents or their school or tutor.
You can learn more about COPPA here.
Who Are We?
We are Nessy Learning LLC, 5608 Malvey Avenue, Suite 203, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
You can write to us at the above address, call us on +1 432 704-1717, or email us using info@nessy.com
What children’s data do we process and how do we obtain parental consent?
Whether your child’s school is providing our package or you have subscribed directly for your child to use Nessy, the children’s data we process are the same.

When you subscribe to our service as a parent you will pay for your subscription using a credit or debit card, which counts as evidence of parental consent as required by COPPA. If your child’s school is using the service, then we do not need your direct consent and can presume that the school is acting on your behalf and has obtained your consent.
Reviewing and deleting data
You can view that data directly by accessing the Nessy platform, or you can contact us as detailed above.
By default, we retain the data up to one year after the end of your subscription (in case you wish to resubscribe whilst retaining the data already collected), however, you can contact us and ask us to delete the data at any time. You can also delete the child’s data within the Nessy platform itself.
How do we use cookies on our platform?
We utilise cookies on our website. Some are required for our site to work, these are known as essential cookies, and we also use others for analytics and marketing purposes.
We will ask for your consent to use any cookies which are not essential, and we won’t deploy any non-essential cookies without your consent. You should be aware that whilst we use non-essential cookies to help us understand how our website is performing, the author of the cookies (e.g., Google) may use the data obtained for their own purposes.
